About the Classes — 10am to noon every Friday
Led by Gailene Wester our yoga class is one of the most popular events on our programme. We work on increasing our body awareness, discovering and lengthening tight muscles, learning breathing techniques, some of the simpler yoga postures and relaxation. No experience necessary. The last half hour is for practicing meditation for those who wish to participate.
The class is held in the main hall, and entry is through the back door. All welcome. No charge. Parking space available behind the building.
What You Will Need
You will need a foam mat, non restrictive clothing, and a blanket for relaxation in the cold weather. You will also need to be able to get up off the mat
unaided.
